“We Women”, a Palmis Magazine project aimed at celebrating the role and contribution of Haitian women in all sectors.

Palmis Magazine will highlight 10 influential Haitian women during the second edition of “We Women” on Saturday March 30, 2024, at the Michèle Tardieu Library, Pétion-ville. This activity will take place around the theme: the stronger the woman, the better the society”.
It aims to honor the role and contribution of women evolving in all sectors of national life.

Indeed, the objectives are multiple for the organizing members of this event aimed at identifying 10 women and highlighting them because of their influences who embody strength, determination and female leadership.
During this activity, the “We Women” team intends to raise participants’ awareness of the importance of the role of women in the development of Haitian society.

Furthermore, the activity will also be a time to inspire and encourage young women to pursue their aspirations and realize their full potential by looking at the work carried out by the ten women honored by the “We Women” team.

It should be noted that the “We Women” project, according to officials, aspires to create a significant impact by highlighting the strength, resilience and leadership of Haitian women.

Remember that March 8 is the date marking International Women’s Rights Day. Throughout this month, several institutions are organizing activities relating to women’s rights and reflections on their emancipation in societies. It is also an opportunity for certain institutions to honor influential women who have left their mark on the societies in which they operate.
