The first and only action of the Presidential Council, since its installation, is to request foreign armed intervention in Haiti
According to information circulating on the Internet and in certain media, members of the Presidential Transitional Council wrote to the President of Kenya to reiterate the request for the sending of the Multinational Security Support Mission to Haiti.
If this information is confirmed, it will be the only national-scale action taken by this council which is still struggling to choose its President and put in place a new government.
Evil tongues point out when it comes to implementing the will of the international, the Council finds unity. However, its members seem to be tearing each other apart over everything that involves taking measures likely to respond to the demands of the Haitian people.
