Yassin Fortuné, a young French footballer of Haitian origin born on January 30, 1999, has just flown to France by joining US Quevilly-Rouen Métropole. Fortuné, a former player in the Arsenal youth categories, has consolidated his career by playing for various French national teams, from U16 to U20.

Before joining US Quevilly-Rouen Métropole, Fortuné was under contract with Swiss club FC Sion, who loaned him to Polissya Zhytomyr in Ukraine, enriching his international experience. Now, he is looking to a new challenge in France, ready to make his contribution to his new club.

Last season, US Quevilly-Rouen Métropole had an eventful campaign in Ligue 2, but unfortunately, the club was relegated at the end of the 2023-2024 season. However, Fortuné and his teammates are determined to bounce back and regain their position in French professional football in the upcoming season in National 1.

Interestingly, US Quevilly-Rouen Métropole has hosted other renowned Haitian footballers in the past such as Jeff Louis, Renald Metellus, Duckens Nazon and Stephane Lambese, strengthening the ties between the club and the Haitian community in French football.
