The popular app that lets you scan food and cosmetic products to find out if they are good or bad for your health and the environment has unveiled its ranking of the 10 best sunscreens.

All of them got a score of 100/100!

The essentials to remember

The Yuka app classifies its products according to their composition. A product that contains few or no ingredients that are potentially harmful to health and the environment is rated well (score from 0 to 100).

All Yuka rankings are made “in a completely independent manner without any brand having paid to appear there”.

Conversely, a product that contains few or no potentially harmful ingredients will be rated well (score from 0 to 100).

Yuka also reminds that all their rankings are made “completely independently without any brand having paid to appear there”.

  • Apply the sunscreen to the entire surface of the body exposed to the sun, without forgetting the ears, temples, neck, back of the hands and tops of the feet…
  • Apply a thick layer 30 minutes before going out, even on cloudy days, and reapply every two hours.
  • Remember to reapply cream after swimming (even if your sunscreen is “water-resistant”), after physical activity or if you sweat a lot.
