For several weeks, Zach LaVine’s name has been circulating in transfer rumors. We were talking about him in particular in Los Angeles because he wanted to join the Lakers. But the Bulls’ rear will probably not move between now and February 8 and the transfer deadline. And for good reason: his season is over!
Injured in his right foot (fracture at the base of the fifth metatarsal), he will have surgery and will miss between four and six months of competition. The former Minnesota player will therefore not return until next season.
It’s a year to forget for him because he ends this 2023/24 financial year with only 25 matches on the clock and overall, the Bulls played better without him. Chicago can still hope to go to the play-in, but without LaVine or Lonzo Ball, who hasn’t played in two years, the ambitions can hardly be higher.
