Via an interactive workshop, the BRH encourages education as a driver of socio-economic development in Haiti
On Saturday June 8, 2024, the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) supported an interactive workshop bringing together high school directors from across the country, organized at the initiative of Guy Etienne, Director of Catts Pressoir College. Titled “The educational project approach, a catalyst for the socio-economic development of communities”this event highlighted the crucial importance of education in the development of Haitian communities.
During this workshop, Mr. Rothchild François Junior, head of the BRH Communication Department, conveyed to the participants the message from Governor Ronald Gabriel:
“At a time when the need to put education at the center of any approach to socio-economic transformation of the country, the BRH can only take great pleasure in associating itself with this noble initiative. The importance of education, but above all quality education, in the advancement of any society, both socially and economically, no longer needs to be demonstrated. »
This initiative reaffirms BRH’s commitment to supporting innovative educational projects, aimed at building a better and more prosperous society in Haiti. By placing education at the heart of development efforts, BRH hopes to catalyze positive and lasting transformations in communities across the country.
