The BRH establishes a deadline of business days for clearing checks
The central bank has informed that a new deadline for clearing checks will be temporarily set at 3 working days.
“The Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) notifies financial institutions that the settlement deadline set by Circular 102 of June 18, 2013 in the context of electronic clearing of checks is temporarily established at three (3) working days”.

This notice from the central bank also specifies that the measure takes effect from April 15, 2024.
