The Dominican vice-consul in Haiti, Rafy Joel Peralta Holguín, is wanted by the authorities of his country for having sexually abused a minor under 16 years old about a month ago. The information was reported by the Dominican media Listin Diario.
In fact, the vice-consul committed this dishonest action in the community of Mata Larga, in San Francisco de Macorís, on a minor under 16 years old. He is actively sought, an arrest warrant number 601-01-2024-EADM-00123 is issued against him, according to information communicated by the authorities then reported by Listin Diario.
Rafy Joel Peralta Holguín was appointed vice-consul in Haiti, more precisely at the Consulate of Port-au-Prince, following a decree taken by Dominican President Luis Abinader on August 29, 2022.
This diplomat from the community of Giza, province of Duarte, receives a salary of 103,000 Dominican pesos as an employee of the Dominican central government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
