A MODEL AMPHYTRION IS DEAD
Arnold Pierre, in his nineties, died on Sunday March 31, with, without doubt, the greatest sadness in his soul at having seen the country that he cherished with its patriotism and social solidarity sink into shreds. Amphitryon, he liked to line up friends and relatives every day around his table, some with sympathetically mischievous words, others with a historiographical bent comparing the good times of yesterday illustrated by extraordinary men and women with the decadence of today marked by voluntary candidates for the negation of values and infatuated with mediocrity. A follower of the movements of 46 and 57, Arnold knew how to choose those who could prove to be good, sincere and tolerant towards those whose perversity pushed to the point of treachery. He loved helping people out of love. His house was like a hospice of friendship, generosity, mutual aid.
I remember how he welcomed Jovenel Moise shortly after being named PHTK candidate. To my knowledge, when he became president, Jovenel did not return it. Arnold was proudly surprised to see me answer a question from this presidential candidate that there would be a greater risk of serious accidents and to his that I would not be interested in participating in a heterogeneous formation. – – -Serious accidents, you say, PRA.

He and I saw some. Arnold Pierre is no more. May he rest in peace !
And I continue to see today, more sadly, more and more audacious and unconscious people, traitors to national dignity.
