Bring your Umbrellas: rainy activities planned in Port-au-Prince for this Tuesday, June 4, announced the Haiti Hydrometeorological Unit (UHM) in its latest bulletin published this morning.
“Some rainy activities with certain thunderstorms and episodes of wind remain possible at the end of the afternoon and in the evening in certain areas” informed l’UHM adding that the Port-au-Princien sky will be very cloudy in the evening.
This situation is due to the humid and unstable weather which influences the weather in a large part of the Greater Antilles, including Haiti which expects to receive showers today.
The tropical wave on the Island of Haiti and the Surface Trough in Cuba continue to influence the country’s weather conditions.
As a result, stormy showers are expected in several departments of the country, including the West, especially in the late afternoon and evening.
The North, the North-West, the Nippes, the Grand-Anse, the Artibonite, the Center, are also subject to heavy showers this Tuesday.
