Tonmtonm Takeova: Darlyne Delice celebrates Haitian cuisine in Canada.
On Saturday, July 13, in Canada, an exceptional gastronomic activity called “Tonmtonm Takeova” was held, organized by Fusion of Cultures. This event highlighted the rich Haitian cuisine.
Darlyne Delice, 38, is the initiator of this activity and the CEO of Tonmtonm Takeova and Dada’scuisine. In an interview with Juno7, she said: “I chose to organize this festival to promote Haitian cuisine and allow more people to know the Tonmtonm dish internationally.”
“Tonmtonm Takeova” has already been held in nine states in the United States and twice in Canada. Delice has announced that the culinary event will return to Canada on August 25 for the Saint-Louis celebration.

She encourages fellow Haitians to promote their cuisine and participate in activities like this. “This will help us go further with our culture because we tend to sell the negative things about Haiti,” she said.
James Pierre hosted the event as master of ceremonies, while several DJs, including DJ One, DJ Fox and Ohsogood, provided the musical atmosphere.
Fusion of Culturesthrough this initiative, has provided a valuable platform to celebrate and share the delights of Haitian cuisine with an international audience.
