Rainy activities and gusty winds are expected in several departments of Haiti, announced the Hydrometeorological Unit of Haiti (UHM) in its latest bulletin.
The Haitian weather service reports that a surface trough located east of the island of Haiti as well as an upper-level trough located north of Cuba is influencing weather conditions in the Greater Antilles, including Haiti, which is expecting showers this Thursday, July 25, 2024.
At least six departments are affected by the UHM announcement: Grand-Anse, Nippes, Nord, Nord-Est, Nord-Ouest and Artibonite.
In addition, the UHM says it is not possible to exclude the possibility that these rainy activities will reach the reliefs of Port-au-Prince (West).
Gusts remain possible in the Haitian capital, where the sky will be cloudy at the end of the afternoon.
The minimum temperature for this Thursday, July 25, could drop to 22 degrees Celsius while the maximum will be around 38 degrees Celsius.
