A bus carrying civilians was riddled with bullets by an armored tank belonging to the Haitian National Police, yesterday Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in the city center, according to trade unionist Méhu Changeux.
Trade unionist Méhu Changeux reported yesterday that a bus providing transport between the commune of Carrefour and the city center of Port-au-Prince was riddled with bullets by an armored tank belonging to the PNH, in the city center , this Tuesday, May 7 in the middle of the day.
Contacted by Loop, the unionist informed us that the loss of human lives and four (4) deaths. Several injuries were also recorded in the bus which was carrying around eighty passengers, according to Changeux.
The Haitian National Police, for its part, has not yet communicated on the incident which caused the death of several civilians in the middle of the city center of the Haitian capital.
