By: Jean Lootcheby Clysto

Despite a generally unsuccessful season, Al-Nassr and Sadio Mané managed to qualify for the King’s Cup of Saudi Arabian Champions.

This Wednesday, the Senegalese international and his gang defeated Khaleej (3-1) in the semi-finals of this competition. The winner of CAN 2021 scored his team’s second goal by converting a penalty (37th) which Cristiano Ronaldo let him hit. The Portuguese striker was the great architect of this qualification with a double (17th, 57th).

Mané in 4 out of 4 mode!

Since his arrival in Saudi Arabia last summer, the Lion has scored in each of the four King’s Cup matches he has played! He has 18 goals and 9 assists in 40 matches in all competitions this season.

Beaten by Al-Hilal in the race for the league title, eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Asian Champions League by Al-Ain, then recently in the semi-finals of the Saudi Arabia Super Cup by Al-Hilal, his team will try to save his season in the final. It will be against the untouchable Al-Hilal of his compatriot Kalidou Koulibaly, who fell the day before to Al-Ittihad (2-1) in the other half that he will have the difficult task of facing.
