The Canaan gang, reinforced by other criminal groups, stormed the sub-police station. The police officers present spent several hours resisting, despite their numerous calls for help, they were unable to find reinforcements, but ultimately they were killed by the bandits.
But according to information available to us, police officers sent as reinforcements were unable to arrive due to the bandits blocking the roads.
Other police infrastructures have also suffered attacks, such as the Portal Léogane sub-police station which was set on fire. Several vehicles in the space were also set on fire.
It should be noted that other members of the population have lost their lives in recent days in the capital. Many people were also injured by gunshots.
