Attack on the Bon Repos sub-police station: the National Union of Haitian Police Officers revealed the names of the 4 police officers killed by bandits.

The National Haitian Police Union confirmed the death of four police officers during an armed attack orchestrated on Thursday, February 29 by gangs against the Bon Repos police station. Three other PNH agents emerged injured. These actions took place after armed men set foot on the tarmac of the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince and terrorized the population.

Indeed, the victim police officers are Marion junior, 14th class, senior inspector; Pierre Luciana, 26th promotion, agent 2; Jean Baptiste Guilliamson, 31st promotion, agent 1 and Pautrace Resula, 32nd promotion, agent 1.

The SYNAPOHA recently demanded that the PNH through its medical service begin a process so that the police can follow psychologists. According to the union’s findings, police morale is affected because of the chaotic situation in the country.

Police officers are often subject to the law of armed gangs in police stations. Remember that armed bandits attacked three times on Wednesday January 25, 2023, the Liancourt police station causing the death of six police officers. These killed agents responded to the names of Louis Kether (Gonaïves Police Station), Badin Makes (UDMO of Saint-Marc, Moreau Comb Detachment), Innocent Donaldson (UDMO of Gonaïves, Liancourt Detachment), Norabert Aurelus (UDMO of Gonaïves), Felix James Junior (UDMO of Saint-Marc, Liancourt Detachment) and Camille Pierre (UDMO of Gonaïves). Another police officer came out injured and was hospitalized, this is Mesadieu Osny, an agent of the UDMO of Saint-Marc seconded to the Liancourt police station.
