The leader of the Fonds-Cheval gang, known to everyone as “Avyon”, was shot by the Police and several other acolytes, according to what the Police announced in a nòt on his social networks. As part of the “special mission” that the Police did in the commune of Mibalè, the institution said it seized weapons and arrested 2 women.
The police said that it is conducting a special mission in the commune of Mibalè, especially in Terre Rouge and Fonds-Cheval, department of Center, where several specialized units of the institution are deployed. It is in the framework of the special mission that the leader of the Fonds-Cheval gang, “Avyon”, fell under the bullets of the Police.
“As part of this operation, several bandits fell in the exchange of shots with the police, among them Joseph Janès, the head of the Fonds-Cheval gang, alias “Avyon” and his brother who had been trying to terrorize the civilian population for several days”, is what we read in the note, which also specifies that the institution seized weapons, confiscated cars, and arrested Roudeline Rémy who is the wife of the leader of the “Avyon” gang, and Rémy Widenise.
Still according to the Police note, “The objective of this mission is to dismantle a gang of individuals and weapons trying to establish in the area”, while he continues to inform that the agents of UTAG, UDMO-west 2 and UDMO Center are engaged in this operation day and night mobilize the necessary resources to allow them to succeed in this mission.
To conclude, the Police wants to believe that it is determined and will progress in this operation in order to facilitate the free and peaceful circulation of citizens.
