The 6 Councilors present who have the right to vote accepted this choice. Councilor Laurent St Cyr was absent.
It should be noted that before this choice, the Presidential Council had decided to hold separate interviews with the five candidates selected for the post of Prime Minister this Tuesday, May 28. They are Fritz Bélizaire, Paul Antoine Bien-Aimé, Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, Jean Rodolphe Joazil and Garry Conille who had his interview via zoom.
