Foreign Affairs Minister Dominique Dupuy meets with Canadian Ambassador to discuss aid to Haiti
Foreign Affairs Minister Dominique Dupuy recently met with Canadian Ambassador André Francois Giroux for a working lunch to discuss the multidimensional crisis facing Haiti.
This meeting, held at the initiative of the Canadian embassy, provided an opportunity to discuss measures that the international community can take to support Haiti in this difficult period, according to a message from the embassy published on X.
During this meeting described as fruitful, the Minister Dupuy stressed the importance of international solidarity and cooperation between nations to address the economic, political and social challenges facing the country.
The situation in Haiti remains worrying, but with international cooperation and the continued efforts of partner countries, these challenges can be overcome. Since taking office, she has continued to seek the support of the international community to help the country rebuild and prosper.
