The return matches of the quarterfinals of the Champions League, 2023-2024 edition, took place on Tuesday April 16, 2024. A day turned sour for FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, both eliminated respectively by Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.

This thunderbolt results from the elimination in the quarter-final second leg of FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, two of the three Iberian big names involved in the most lucrative competition in Europe at club level.
First, after its victory (2-3) in the first leg against Paris Saint-Germain, at the Parc des Princes, FC Barcelona suffered the law of Ousmane Dembélé, a former member of the house as well as Kylian Mbappé.

So, Real Madrid, now the only Spanish representative in the LDC, has been warned! The Meringue club will challenge Manchester City tomorrow at the Ethiad Stadium. Remember, in the first leg the two clubs parted in a spectacular draw (3-3).
In the other match, Arsenal FC and Bayern Munich FC will face off for a place in the semi-finals after their draw (2-2) in the first leg.
