Political leader Mr. Clarens Renois recommends the formation of a consensus government to guarantee the success of the transition. According to him, consensus is essential for a rebirth of the nation and the achievement of a credible electoral process. He points out that all actors have failed at one point or another over the past 4 decades, making consensus all the more obligatory.

Believing that political actors are already on the right track with the presidential transition council, Mr. Renois pleads for members of the government to reflect a balance between technical and political. He judges that Mr. Conille, with his experience within the UN system, understands the Haitian reality well, which is essential for the success of this transition.

The leader of Unite calls on political actors to go beyond their personal pretensions, an essential condition for the cohesion necessary for the success of the transition team. He insists on a symbiosis between the presidential council and the Prime Minister’s office. Discussions between political actors will have to intensify during this week to form the new government. In this context, Prime Minister Conille had working sessions with the Prime Minister Mr. Michel Patrick Boisvert to prepare the transfer of power.
