A few hours after his appointment as Prime Minister, Garry Conille said he was honored that the Presidential Transitional Council had chosen him as the one to take the reins of the Prime Minister. The former Head of Government under the Presidency of Martelly made this declaration, this Wednesday, May 29, 2024, on his official X account (formerly Twitter).
I feel very honored that the Presidential Council has chosen me as the new Prime Minister of Haiti. I would like to thank all civil society organizations, political parties, and members of the diaspora who proposed my name among other candidates in the process.

In passing, Garry Conille thanked all the sectors who proposed his name as a personality capable of leading the Transitional Government. Civil society organizations, diaspora groups among others.
“Together we will work for better days, for the sons and daughters of Haiti,” declared the technocrat who is preparing to return to the Prime Minister’s office.
Remember that the Presidential Transitional Council voted Garry Conille as Prime Minister on Tuesday, May 27, 2024, after an audience with the person concerned by videoconference.
