In a thrilling match, England managed to beat Slovakia after a tense encounter that was decided in extra time. Despite a timid start to the match, England managed to turn the situation around to win and secure their ticket to the quarter-finals of the Euro.

The match started at a slow pace, with few chances for either side. Slovakia took the lead in the 22nd minute thanks to an assist from Strelec, converted into a goal by Shranz. After this opening goal, the English struggled to create any real chances, contenting themselves with passing the ball around ineffectively.

After the break, England showed increased intensity, desperate to equalise. The pressure intensified until the added minutes, when a moment of magic allowed England to equalise. A free-kick from the left wing by Ivan Toney was deflected by Harry Kane, who simply had to push the ball into the back of the net in the 91st minute. England then managed their lead well, holding on to the 2-1 scoreline until the final whistle.
