France triumphs against England at St James’s Park

In an electrifying match during the Women’s Euro 2025 qualifiers, the French national football team managed to defeat England with a final score of 2-1. Fans witnessed an intense battle between two of Europe’s women’s football powerhouses.

First with the injury to England’s starting goalkeeper Earps in the thigh at the start of the match. England opened the scoring in the 31st minute thanks to a great effort from B. Mead, putting pressure on the French. However, the French team was quick to react and equalized in the 41st minute thanks to a spectacular goal from De Almeida. With the score 1-1 at halftime, the match was perfectly balanced, promising a thrilling second half.

France finally took the lead in the 69th minute thanks to a crucial goal from Mr Katoto, sparking enthusiasm from the French fans in the stands. Despite England’s desperate efforts to get back into the match, the French team held on until the final whistle, securing a valuable victory.

This victory positions France at the top of the group with 9 points, demonstrating its domination in these qualifiers. On the other hand, England finds itself in third place with 4 points, which makes their qualification for Women’s Euro 2025 more uncertain.
