PLANHAITI2K50 welcomes the appropriation of the content of its note of April 21 by several sectors and personalities, both national and international, in which a warning was amply given to the members of the Presidential Council of the Transition and to the representative sectors of avoid the errors of judgment of ex-PM Ariel Henry, that the choice of the new Prime Minister transcends political and ideological divisions and goes beyond the horizons of the agreement of April 3.
Considering the political and economic interests that have been disputed at the level of the Presidential Council of the Transition since the events of April 30, for a concerted and thoughtful solution to the crisis, PLANHAITI2K50 advocates that the members of the said Council go beyond and that commitments be made to that :
1- The choice of the new Prime Minister is made by consensus, outside the political parties and signatory sectors of the agreement of April 3;
2- The agreement of April 3 is available and open to collecting other signatures, for a broader political consensus.
By promising to continue to play its watchdog role until the restoration of the three (3) constituted powers of the State, PLANHAITI2K50 reminds the members of the Presidential Council of the Transition of the imperative need to always prioritize the superior interests of the nation.
