P-au-P, July 05, 2024 [AlterPresse] — Armed bandits shot dead several people, including two police divisional inspectors, on Thursday, July 4, 2024, according to information gathered by the online agency AlterPresse.
The two divisional police inspectors, Lozama Télémaque and Yves Nord, were assassinated in the commune of Carrefour (south of the capital, Port-au-Prince), specifies the Union of the National Police of Haiti (Spnh-17), on its account X.
Another person, whose identity has not been revealed, was also shot dead in the town of Carrefour.
The news of these assassinations was confirmed by the two unions of the police institution on their X account, namely the National Union of Haitian Police Officers (Synapoha) and the Spnh-17.
