P-au-P, 14 from 2024 [AlterPresse] — Agent 3 of the Haitian National Police (Pnh), Danas Jean, was shot and killed on the evening of Monday, May 13, 2024 at Cote Plage 20, in the commune of Carrefour (south of the capital) , according to information gathered by the online agency AlterPresse.

The assassination of Danas Jean brings to 18 the number of police officers killed by armed bandits since the start of 2024.
