Haiti – FLASH: Between 30 and 40 killed in Pétion-ville in 5 days

Friday March 22, 2024, after a night of bloody clashes between units of the National Police and armed individuals who tried to take control of the area, around ten bodies, several of which were charred, were found in the streets of Pétion- city in particular at Panamerican Avenue and high Delmas 60 and 95 where gang leader Ernst Julmé alias Ti Greg and two of his men were fatally injured the day before by a special police unit.
With the fifteen bodies littering the streets of Pétion-ville on Monday https://www.haitilibre.com/article-41917-haiti-flash-des-cadavres-jonchent-les-rues-de-petion-ville.html and the 7 others discovered on Wednesday https://www.haitilibre.com/article-41940-haiti-actualite-zapping.html between 30 and 40 deaths have been counted in Pétion ville over the last 5 days… Some fell under the bullets of the police during exchanges of fire, others probably lynched by the popular movement “Bwa Kale” and finally other innocent collateral victims of the urban guerrilla…
