Wearing their “khaki” uniform, several Kenyan police officers deployed to Haiti on Tuesday, June 25, were seen on Friday, June 28, 2024, in Port-au-Prince, patrolling certain streets of the Capital. Also wearing bulletproof vests and helmets, they were accompanied by Haitian police officers including agents of the “SWAT TEAM.”

THE HAITI FACTOR, June 29, 2024._ Four (4) days after their landing in Haiti, i.e. on Tuesday June 25, 2024, Kenyan police officers carried out their first intervention in the country.

Thus, yesterday Friday June 28, some of them, under the direction of SWAT TEAM agents, crisscrossed certain streets of Port-au-Prince.

According to available images, some in khaki uniforms, also wearing bulletproof vests and helmets, were seen taking positions in the streets, aboard black armored vans.

However, others, led by visibly motivated Haitian police officers, roamed certain streets, as a prelude to their effective deployment in Port-au-Prince with the aim of restoring security there.
