June 7, 1802: arrest of Toussaint Louverture. Under the pretext of getting to know him and thus better collaborating for general peace, General Brunet invites Toussaint to his home. Although suspicious by nature, Toussaint accepts this invitation and is arrested as soon as he crosses the threshold of the house. He will be shipped a few days later for France. June 7, 1843: Creation, in Port-au-Prince, of the first municipal commission. This creation followed the decree of May 9, 1843. This first commission was composed of the following citizens: Jean Paul: mayor, P. Jeanton: first deputy: P. Morin, second deputy and JA Mirabeau, third deputy.

June 7, 2022: kidnapping of the wife of the famous filmmaker Arnold Antonin by armed individuals, in their private residence, located at Thomassin 29, Pétion-ville. She will regain her freedom on June 9 upon payment of a ransom.

June 7, 2017: three new ambassadors accredited to Haiti. They are Alberto Emilio Despradel Cabral from the Dominican Republic, Cheng-Hao Hu from the Republic of China (Taiwan) and Bader Almatrooshi from the United Arab Emirates.

June 7, 2022: victory by three goals to two (3-2) of the men’s national team against Montserrat as part of the second edition of the 2022 Nations League of the Confederation of North and Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). Mondy Prunier, Antoine Carnejy, Steeven Saba were the scorers on the Haitian side.
