The kidnappers had demanded 600,000 US dollars for the release of the YouTuber. According to information, a sum of 40,000 dollars was paid by his relatives but the kidnappers had demanded a larger amount to free Addison Pierre Maalouf, kidnapped two days after he came to Haiti.

For the moment, it is unknown whether the YouTuber’s entourage had paid another amount. Addison Pierre Maalouf lives in the United States in Atlanta. His content on YouTube aims to meet gang leaders and drug cartels in countries known to be dangerous.
