Little Hearts Dream Foundation hosts its 3rd annual conference in Boston ahead of American Children’s Day
As part of American Children’s Day, the Little Hearts Dream Foundation will organize its third annual conference this Saturday, June 8, 2024 in Boston. Under the theme “Banditry and societal crisis in Haiti: what should be the role of education”, this conference will explore educational solutions to societal challenges in Haiti.
Founded in 2014 by Stéphanie Morisset, the Little Hearts Dream Foundation is committed to supporting educational and professional programs for underprivileged children in the commune of Quartier Morin, in the Galman du Plat region of Haiti. Currently, the organization has nearly 500 beneficiaries and aims to expand its services in response to growing demand from young people and their parents.
In this sense, the Victoria Montou Professional Institute, affiliated with the foundation, plans to increase the number of beneficiaries of its training in areas such as construction, cosmetology and cooking.
Stéphanie Thermidor Morisset, president of the foundation, urges the Haitian community in the United States to support fundraising efforts in order to strengthen the actions of the organization and promote solidarity with Haitian youth.
This annual conference provides a platform to address educational issues in Haiti and examine opportunities for collaboration and mutual learning to improve the country’s education system.
