The National Identification Office (ONI) in a press release made public formally denies rumors according to which its offices request money from citizens to issue them the National Identification Card (CIN), a free service. The ONI calls on all citizens to be vigilant against networks of scammers who pose as ONI agents with the aim of stealing money from citizens requesting services.
The Office invites all citizens who have not yet collected their National Identification Card to come and collect it from all the institution’s offices across the country and encourages them to contact ONI agents only. duly identified.
ONI reminds that no citizen has to pay money in any office to obtain the card.
