The 221st anniversary of the National Flag will be celebrated without solemnity in Port-au-Prince, more precisely at the Welcome Villa on May 18, 2024.
“Ann rasanble nou anba Drapo nou”, it is under this theme that the celebration of the Haitian bicolor will take place in the capital. Thus, the members of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) are obliged to do like the governments that preceded them: flee the terror of the gangs established in the northern part of the country.
Since its installation on April 25, the Presidential Transitional Council has given no sign of an iron will to bring the country out of chaos. Intermittently, division is felt within this structure called upon to resolve the crisis.
