As part of the celebration of the Haitian flag on May 18, 2024, Haitian Ballers, a sports organization dedicated to the promotion of Haitian basketball players, is organizing a special event to celebrate our flag around the slogan “Mete l anlè Bicolore 3X” at Antoine Izmery Park, located in Delmas 33, from ten in the morning to four in the afternoon.

Various activities are planned for this day, including three-point shooting contests, dunk contests, musical entertainment with DJs and a craft exhibition to top it all off.

The aim of this event, according to the organizers, is to raise funds in order to organize another activity for the benefit of children, as part of their parallel social commitment.

Through this slogan, Catherine Saintimé, the General Manager of Haitian Ballers, tells us, the team invites all Haitians to unite, or even to remain united, regardless of the situation they are faced with.

“METE L ANLÈ Bicolore 3X” is a powerful message that we send to encourage and show our solidarity with all Haitians, wherever they are in the world, especially in these critical times. It is a way of reminding us that despite difficulties, we remain united and determined to bring positive meaning to life,” she maintains.

Since its creation, Haitian Ballers has been committed to providing opportunities for players to develop, not only in Haiti, but also abroad. In addition to training athletes, the organization invests in social actions such as renovating fields and developing playgrounds for young people. It’s not just about playing, but also about contributing positively to the lives of young people.

We have also found partners, says the manager, such as the American company Venice Ball, to collaborate on field renovation projects. We also don’t forget our “Balling For Peace” program, which aims to create an environment of peace and inclusion through basketball and music.

The General Manager already believes in the success of this activity, which is of capital importance for her entire team.

“This first edition will be a success, and it is up to us to continue to grow and do more in the days to come. Haitian Ballers remains committed to its mission of helping young people improve their lives and making our flag fly even higher in the skies of the world,” she assures.
