Miami, FL – The City of Miami Police Department, in collaboration with the Community Relations Section and the Little Haiti Neighborhood Team, is proud to present the Haitian Heritage Celebration (celebration of Haitian heritage). Join us on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Chief Clarence Dickson’s Police College facility located at 350 NW 2 Avenue, Miami, FL 33128.

The event promises a lively day with DJ Ben Hop, Haitian dancers, photo opportunities, food trucks, poetry, clothing vendors, art exhibits and even a police vehicle showcasing Haitian heritage.

Sponsored by Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and Commissioner Christine King, this street party aims to celebrate the cultural richness and importance of the Haitian community in Miami. It is an opportunity for residents from all backgrounds to come together, share and celebrate the diversity that makes the City of Miami strong.
