Music: discovering the artist Isemylee Camille who has unveiled a new title “Bad with me”.
Isemylee Camillenative of the town of Cité Soleil, unveiled this week the song “Bad with me”, available as a video clip on his Facebook page. Little known to the general public, the singer, also a health professional, gave an interview to the Juno7 editorial staff to talk about herself, her musical career, her projects and other music-related topics.

“My name is Isemylee, I was born in Cité-Soleil, Haiti. I grew up in Cap-Haïtien. I did my primary education at St-François D’Assise and my secondary education at Martin Luther King College. After leaving the country, I entered the United States. I am continuing my studies in nursing, I have been living in the USA for more than 10 years.”
Discovery of music
“Music for me is a gift from God because since my childhood, I have always loved singing. I was born in a Christian family, and it was inside the church that I started singing from a very young age until today. Singing is like a drug for me because it allows me to express myself to the world and reach people I don’t even know or have contact with.”
Reasons to make music
“Making music helps remove sadness and sorrow from people’s lives. Thanks to music, you can express your love for your country and raise awareness among an entire people about a cause or a crisis. These are all the reasons that pushed me towards music.”
On the song “Bad with me”
“Bad with me” is over 2 years old since I wrote it. It’s a “funny” song, aimed at young people, a beautiful different story that simply talks about love and attraction. “Bad with me” was produced by Yani w Bbo.”

“I am very sensitive to people’s suffering, which is one of the reasons that pushed me to study nursing long before getting into music. I’m a nurse, so I don’t just focus on music. I am a businesswoman and I have other activities outside of music.”

“I appreciate the work of all artists in general, because making music requires a lot of sacrifice and work. I salute all the women who enter this profession for their courage and determination. Every artist has something unique that attracts me.”
Message to fellow Haitians, especially its fans
“I want to tell my fellow Haitians, wherever they are in the world, that the situation in our country is very sad. Don’t forget to support Haiti. The country needs the support of all its children to emerge from this crisis. I advise all young people and my fans to never neglect their education. This is how I became successful, and I thank all my fans who support me in my endeavors. I tell them to hold on and never give up.”
