Nations League: the United States and Mexico will meet in the final!

The semi-finals of the Concacaf Nations League took place this Thursday, March 21, 2024 in the evening. The USA overthrows Jamaica and Mexico crushes Panama.

The star-studded selection made every effort to get to the end of the Raggae Boyz. From the first minute of play, the Reggae boys shook the Americans’ net after Gregory Leigh’s opening goal. Since then, after this goal, the Jamaicans have remained in their camp and established a defensive base to prevent American attacks.

The Jamaicans resisted and the score at half time was 1-0 in favor of the Jamaicans. Back after the break, the American team increased the intensity, but Christiansen’s Poulains resisted the attacks until the Jamaican striker, unfortunately, scored an own goal at the very end of the match 90+ 6. Arriving in overtime, they conceded 2 more goals with a double from Haji Wright.

The Panamanians were overwhelmed by the events!

The Panamanian selection fell hard 3-0 against Mexico in the semi-final. A very interesting and balanced start to the meeting. The Panamanian team sank at the end of the first half conceding two goals in 3 minutes 40 and 43 minutes of play with goals from Edson Álvarez and Julián Quiñones. Halftime score 2-0 for Mexico.

In the second period, the Mexicans scored a third goal which killed the Panamanians’ hopes by Orbelín Pineda in the 67th minute. A guaranteed place for the final.
The Mexicans will face the United States in the final on March 24 at AT&T Stadium.
