The ONA denounces the act of vandalism perpetrated against its municipal office in Ouanaminthe.
The General Management of theNational Old Age Insurance Office (ONA), in a press note, denounced “vigorously the act of vandalism” perpetrated against the communal office of this institution in Ouanaminthe, in the North-East, on Monday January 29, 2024.
The judicial authorities of this jurisdiction were regularly requested to observe and assess the extent of the damage. It was in fact noted that this office was brutally ransacked, looted then set on fire by heavily armed individuals who have not yet been identified, specifies the ONA in its note.
This violence, adds the institution, constitutes serious violations of the rights of policyholders and pensioners benefiting from the services of this office who prepare and ensure their future and their old age.
The General Management of ONA announces that it will take all urgent measures required by this situation for the immediate resumption of its services.
