The Director General of the PNH, Mr. Frantz Elbé, accompanied by the American Ambassador, Mr. Dennis Bruce Hankins, and the airport authorities, was, this Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au -Prince with a view to receiving a batch of equipment including armored vehicles offered by the American Government as part of the operational capacity strengthening project from PNH.
It should be brought to the attention of the population that this day also marks the beginning of the gradual resumption of commercial flights with the arrival at Port-au-Prince Airport of one (1) cargo flight and of the organization of two (2) Sunrise Company flights, thanks to all the security measures taken, which are increasingly being strengthened to facilitate the resumption of activities at the Airport.
It should be noted that the improvement of the security environment at the airport is the result of the combined efforts of different local authorities and American cooperation.
