The act occurred at rue Camille Léon (Port-au-Prince), this Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in the morning. Indeed, Barbarah Fécu, from the 32nd promotion of the Haitian National Police (PNH), was shot dead during a kidnapping attempt.
The information was confirmed by the National Union of Haitian Police Officers (Synapoha) which specified that the victim was accompanying her child to school when she was killed. His attackers had time to take away his service weapon.
Note that according to Synapoha, the assassination of Barbarah Fécu brings to 17 the number of police officers killed by armed bandits who have been operating peacefully in the country for some time.
