A shooting on a minibus perpetrated by armed bandits operating in Morne Cabrit yesterday Sunday February 18, 2024 left several victims, according to a communication from the Association of Owners and Drivers of Haiti (APCH).
Armed men operating in Morne Cabrit opened fire on a public transport minibus coming from Mirebalais on Sunday, killing 10 people, including the driver of the vehicle known as “Ti Blan”.
This tragic event took place near the police station in the area, around 1 o’clock in the afternoon, according to the Association of Owners and Drivers of Haiti (APCH).
For the moment, the number of injured remains unknown.
On the other hand, APCH reported that three trucks from the Syntransbel company had been set on fire by bandits from Savien, in Liancourt, in the Artibonite.
“The drivers had time to flee. The others were murdered and charred,” the association continues in a communication.
