Haitian chancellery condemns rape of 14-year-old girl by Dominican migration agent
The Haitian chancellery, in a note, said it had learned “with indignation the news of the rape of a 14-year-old Haitian girl by a Dominican migration agent. »
According to her, the alleged crime was committed in the province of Higuey. Under the pretext of carrying out a document check and taking advantage of the absence of the girl’s parents, agents broke into the home to commit the crime.
” The Haitian Chancellery condemns this serious attack on human dignity and demands that justice be done to the innocent victim,” we can read in this note.
Instructions have been passed, adds the chancellery, to the Haitian diplomatic representation so that the victim and the parents receive all the necessary assistance. The Haitian Consulate in Higuey has already established contact with the victim’s parents.
