CONMEBOL Women’s U-20 Championship: Brazil crushes Chile, Venezuela dances on Bolivia

Brazil started the CONMEBOL Women’s U-20 championship strong by inflicting a 5-1 drubbing on the Chilean team with 5 different scorers after leading 1-0 at halftime. Venezuela had an offensive festival against Bolivia with also a hat-trick from Mariana Barreto.

In group B, this Friday April 12, we start the CONMEBOL Women’s U-20 Championship with a dapper Brazilian team which stifled Chile 5-1. The Brazilians dominated the Chilean team in all areas of the game, did not force themselves to seal the fate of La Roja.

It was the Brazilian team that started the hostilities in this meeting in the 30th minute through Natalia and at 45+3 through Nicole Carter, Chile found the equalizer. And back on the field after halftime 1-1, the Chileans experienced an ordeal.

The Brazilian scorers are Natalia 30′, Duda Mineira 53′ for the 2-1. Ana Flavia 63rd, Gisele Silva 81st and Carole Chaves 89th. Venezuela takes the lead in the ranking after the first two group matches with 3 points difference +6 ahead of Brazil with 3 points difference +4.
