The name Jacques Joseph was arrested by investigators from the Office for the Fight against Narcotics Trafficking (BLTS), Monday April 29, 2024, for his alleged involvement in the international trafficking of firearms and ammunition, informs the National Police in a statement.
This arrest took place during a joint search operation with agents of the Customs Surveillance Brigade in Cap-Haitien, at the Cap Terminal SA (CTSA) in Quartier-Morin known as Cap-2, inside a container where two (02) 9 mm caliber pistol-type firearms, thirteen (13) 9 mm caliber cartridges, and two (02) magazines were discovered in a blue drum.
Jacques Joseph is the representative of the named Wilking Etienne, recipient of the container registered KOSU 461487-6 and seal numbers: KOSL 298594/ 231331, coming from the United States, and transported by the ALLIANCE INT’L SHIPPING LLC agency, 6916 NW 72ND AVENUE MIAMI FL. 33166.
After the legal report made by a judge of the peace of the jurisdiction, Jacques Joseph is kept in custody pending legal proceedings, specifies the PNH in its press release.
