The Fond-des-Blancs Youth League (LIJEF) repeats the flagship event of the municipality with the 4th edition of “Fond-des-Blancs ap pedale”, scheduled for May 18, 2024, thus marking a tradition now well anchored in the local calendar.
Since its first edition in 2021, this event has experienced remarkable growth, becoming an unmissable event for the residents of Fond-des-Blancs and the surrounding area. This year, organizers promise an even more memorable celebration, with a diverse program for all ages.
On the program, colorful parades featuring schoolchildren from the different schools in the town, thrilling races on foot and with bags, a lively football tournament, and of course, an intoxicating musical atmosphere with the presence of a Local DJ.
Pouchon Guirant, spokesperson for LIJEF, emphasizes that this event has particular meaning for the municipality. Beyond a simple celebration, it is a symbol of unity and progress, demonstrating that when the community comes together, it can accomplish great things for the development of Fond-des-Blancs.
Since its creation in February 2021, LIJEF has been committed to promoting education, culture and sport within the municipality. “Fond-des-Blancs ap pedale” represents a concrete manifestation of this commitment, and those responsible assure that other stimulating initiatives will follow in the months to come.
Raised to the rank of commune in 2015, Fond-des-Blancs, located in the district of Aquin, continues to assert itself as a center of dynamism and vitality, bringing together more than 500 participants from all walks of life each year during its socio-cultural events.
The 4th edition of “Fond-des-Blancs ap pedale” therefore promises to be a strong moment of sharing, conviviality and celebration for all the inhabitants of the town and beyond.
