Two alleged bandits arrested in Saint-Marc, substances similar to marijuana seized, a member of the Canaan gang apprehended in Jacmel
The Police nationale, in two press notes made public, informed of the arrest of two alleged bandits by the names of Martial Jean-Baptiste and Charlotin Dorvilus. These alleged bandits are members of another gang operating in the Morne Grand Fond area and in Liancourt.
This operation, according to the PNH, follows complaints filed against them by members of the population for having committed acts of banditry in the commune of Saint-Marc.
Furthermore, substances assimilated to marijuana were found in a
bus providing the Saint-Marc route to Port-au-Prince, by law enforcement officers.
In the South-East, law enforcement officers arrested Rony Dahobert, a member of the Canaan gang, on Monday January 29. For the moment, he is placed in police custody while awaiting the necessary legal action.
