The Haiti Hydrometeorological Unit (UHM) announces rainy activities in Haiti for this Tuesday due to the passage of a tropical wave over the island.
These showers are expected in the afternoon and evening precisely l’UHM emphasizing that Nippes, the West, the South, Artibonite, the Center and the North are the departments most affected by this new development.
“Gusts of wind and stormy rain activities are forecast over the country” informs the IHM in its latest bulletin adding that these “episodes of wind” and showers could continue on Wednesday and Thursday due to the residue of the wave tropical.
For Port-au-Prince and its surroundings, the UHM announces rainy activities as well as gusts in the evening and during the night.
The maximum temperature for this Tuesday, May 28, 2024 could rise to 33 degrees Celsius while the minimum varies between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius.
