“Yo di pa gen 2 queen! Pa gen 2 queen! Only one!”, the artist of the Ekip group, Shabba returns to his statements.
Last Saturday, during a concert of his group EKIP, Shabba declared on stage in the presence of Let’s go: “Yo di pa gen 2 queen! Pa gen 2 queen! Only one!” Congratulations for the young singer who forms the sensational duo of the moment with K-dilak.
During an interview with Juno7 regarding his group’s upcoming tour in April and May, the former Djakout musician returned to his statements which sparked a lot of comments on social networks.
During his explanations, Shabba highlighted Bedjine’s success in recent years in the music industry. For the singer, it is completely normal to prove his love as well as his respect for the young woman and for what she represents today.
“As Bedjine plays with me on stage, it’s normal that I give her love. And the love I gave him is not fake. Bedjine is a young talent who can have 4 to 5 years in the sector, during which time she proves herself. She made her own music which became a hit, she also made hit music with K-dilak.”
Moving on, the musician is aware that Rutshelle is on track to become a music icon in a few years for what she is currently achieving in the industry.
“I think Rutshelle is working for this title and working for this title. I cannot spit on the accomplishments of Rutshelle and other women in Haitian music. I simply think that Bedjine is a young talent who so far has not disappointed anyone. It’s normal if the moment is for her, I owe her respect, I have to tell the truth. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t take into account the work that other singers including Rutshelle, Anie Alerte, Darline Desca among others are doing in the industry.
Note that for some time now, Internet users and even professionals have joined in a battle of comparisons between Bedjine and Rutshelle. Comparisons which often spark debates on both sides of the chessboard. Some have even dared to say that Bedjine’s numbers speak for her in recent years while others defend Rutshelle Guillaume by mentioning her numerous albums and collaborations as well as her duets with international artists.
