Citizens of Delmas 24 are launching an urgent appeal to the police authorities due to the presence of armed civilians.
This Monday, April 29, 2024, armed individuals were spotted in Delmas 24, prompting residents to alert the police authorities. “We fear that criminals will commit violent acts like last week,” said one resident.
According to a witness contacted by Juno7, several people were killed this Monday, April 29 in the morning, near the place where the body of Evelyne Sincère was found. Many residents were also forced to leave the area for safety reasons.
“The situation is out of control, we ask the Haitian National Police to send officers with armored vehicles to repel these criminals who took the lives of two elderly people in our neighborhood,” he said.
